Online training
Repeated digital exercises adapt to the person’s current performance.
Cogmed Working Memory Training
Cogmed is an online, coach-supported program for children, adolescents and adults who want to strengthen working memory and attention.
Working memory
Working memory helps us keep track of information long enough to act on it. It is used when following several instructions, completing a multi-step task, doing mental calculations, organising an activity or staying with a conversation.
Difficulties with working memory can look like losing track, forgetting the next step, needing instructions repeated or becoming overloaded when a task contains too much information.
Repeated digital exercises adapt to the person’s current performance.
Coaching, progress monitoring and review help the person stay engaged with the program.
The value of the service
Cogmed is not simply access to a set of computer exercises. The $1,500 service includes an initial discussion, a training plan, professional coaching and a 30-minute review consultation.
Clarify the working-memory concern and what improvement would look like in everyday life.
Select a training schedule that considers age, stamina, routines and the support available at home.
Use coaching and progress information to support motivation and completion.
Review the training experience and consider practical next steps after the program.
Program pathway
The exact protocol is confirmed after suitability, goals and practical requirements have been discussed.
Clarify the concern, intended benefit, practical commitment and whether Cogmed is an appropriate option.
Important limits
Cogmed does not replace a psychological assessment, therapy, medical treatment, educational support or skilled teaching. Outcomes vary, and no specific improvement can be guaranteed. Suitability depends on the person’s needs, goals, capacity to complete regular training and wider supports.
Before starting
The program fee includes the initial discussion, Cogmed training set-up and coaching, progress monitoring, and a 30-minute review consultation.
No. Cogmed is working-memory training. It does not determine whether someone meets diagnostic criteria for ADHD or another condition.
The exercises are completed online, commonly at home, with professional coaching and progress review.
Cogmed uses flexible training protocols. The number and length of sessions are selected for the individual and confirmed before the program begins.
